UNIBEN Alumni Set to Decorate Rep. Ukodhiko with Distinguished Alumnus Honour
It is often said that a golden fish has no hiding place. In alignment with this truth, the member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Rep. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, will tomorrow, November 22nd, 2025, be honoured with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by the Council of the University of Benin Alumni Association.
He will be honoured alongside other notable Isoko sons and distinguished Nigerians who have excelled in their various endeavours.
The award recognizes Rep. Ukodhiko’s sterling career as an entrepreneur and investor, as well as his significant contributions to the growth and development of the association.
Rep. Ukodhiko currently serves as the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Science and Technology. He is also the founder Joeny Holding Limited, a multi-million-dollar conglomerate with interests in oil and gas, real estate, construction, mining, and fintech. The company boasts international subsidiaries and a workforce of over 500 employees both locally and globally.
He was the former Group MD/CEO of Joeny Holdings Ltd, a position he resigned from and relinquished after joining active politics to serve his people and humanity.
He is a devoted Christian, a lovely husband, father, community leader and a labourer in the vineyard of God whose life is dedicated to the service of God and humanity. He has the fear of God which he exhibits in all his endeavours.
Despite being the founder of such a sizeable enterprise and maintaining a busy public life, Rep. Ukodhiko remains a man of deep reverence and humility towards God and humanity.
Congratulations in advance, sir, on this well-deserved recognition as a Distinguished Alumnus (DA) of the esteemed University of Benin Alumni Association.
